Leave it or live with it!

“The single biggest problem with communication is the illusion that it has taken place.”

George Bernard Shaw

Misunderstanding does not always come from badinage; it can be a part of a too excellent or a lousy conversation. Loquacious personalities often gather trouble quickly, and sometimes remaining silent could act as a bane. I know; you must be thinking, what is the point here? Let me tell you a story.

Once there was a leaf. It came out of the pith and finally joined all its fellows in a green pastoral valley. The valley was basked in the sun, and sometimes the clouds with its droplets used to play with everyone and used leaves as an instrument of music. The clear river`s flow giving beautiful curves to the land and thus made everything picturesque. The lush green paddy fields, after every rain, had pearls of water over them and snow flaked mountains used to protect this pristine valley. The leaf used to watch all this with joy and unconditional love, but somewhere there was a phase in his life where he used to befuddle. Many leaves grew up with him, few leaves got bereaved from the stem, few dried away, few got eaten up, and few blew away with the harsh winds.

However, few leaves were standing stiff enough to challenge any situation, but when they passed their period, they also withered away. But that one leaf survived for a long time even after its peers were gone. Bereft from his closed ones, slowly, a state of gloominess impeded him. Finally, there came a day when that leaf also bequeathed.

Now the question arises that who should be blamed when a leaf falls from a tree? Am I telling you a story of a single leaf or every other leaf?  Is it the wind that blew it away or the tree, which let it go? Or is it the leaf who grew tired holding on?

“Life unfolds a lot of misunderstandings every day, it’s up to you to leave it or live with it!”
